Summer Camp LeaderSalary Range: $18.10 per hour, up to 41.25 hours a weekContract Position: June 15, 2026 to September 4, 2026THEMUSEUM is looking for creative, enthusiastic and energetic Camp Leaders to facilitate our 2025 Summer Day Camps. This year’s Summer Camps focus on a range of themes such as space, science, magic, medieval studies, history, circusry and many other STEM-related topics. You will also be bringing the campers to a local park daily (if the weather permits) and helping them experience THEMUSEUM’s latest, interactive exhibits! Successful candidates will lead fun, educational and memorable experiences for our campers (ages 5-10) during their summer vacation.Main ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality, educational camp programming such as hands-on activities, demonstrations and craftsPrepare and lead recreational activities, games, and songsSupervise and engage with campers in daily outdoor activities for 1 to 3 hours, weather permittingFacilitate structured gallery exploration and supervised free-time in THEMUSEUM’s exhibitionsEnsure the care, safety, and security of campersProvide exceptional visitor experience and customer serviceManage group behavior and facilitate an inclusive and respectful environment for all campersCommunicate with parents/guardians as neededWorking as part of a team, collaborating with fellow Camp Leaders, and providing direction to camp volunteers and co-op studentsManage and track camp supplies,



equipment and resourcesOther duties as requiredSkillsExperience leading camp activities with children and youthPassion for working with and educating childrenExperience working in a customer service environmentExperience delivering oral presentations and communicationDemonstrate time management, leadership and communication skillsAbility to enthusiastically present accurate, engaging and age-appropriate programmingAbility to work independently, multi-task and problem solvePosition RequirementsKnowledge/skills in one or more of the following areas: S.T.E.A.M.
