Clinical Nutrition - Adult Eating DisordersResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for the nutritional assessment and management of patients. This position reports to the Manager of Clinical Nutrition for profession and administration needs and the Program Manager for program‑specific needs.Primary responsibilities include the assessment of nutritional status and nutritional needs, and the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans to meet these needs in a patient-and-family‑centred model of care. To provide these services, the successful incumbent will collaborate with other health‑care providers and function as a key member of interdisciplinary teams.QualificationsSuccessful completion of an undergraduate bachelor’s degree in nutrition, food science, or related subject acceptable to the hospitalRegistration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario requiredMembership in Dietitians of Canada required1 year recent related experience, preferably in an acute healthcare settingRecent experience with enteral and parenteral nutrition preferredDemonstrated skills in patient education and ability to support advancement of dietetic practice‑based research and knowledgeAbility to promote a high standard of skilled practice by disseminating nutrition knowledge and informationCommitment to ongoing education and professional development related to best practice in clinical nutritionProficient computer skills including word processing and data management softwareAbility to recognize own feelings, express them fully, and constructively manage own feelings in challenging and emotionally charged situationsAbility to express ideas clearly, confidently,
