END DATE SEPTEMBER 2027)REASON TO POST:DIRECT REPLACEMENTWAGE RATE:$40.36 – $56.30Position DescriptionReporting to the Manager, Interprofessional Practice, the Physiotherapist assesses patients, and plans and carries out individually designed treatment programs to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical deconditioning in patients. The initial work assignment is on Surgery in Owen Sound, but the incumbent may also be asked to assist with covering assignments that are open due to weekend coverage, sick time and fluctuations of workload. This position is expected to participate in weekend shift coverage and is the primary therapist for late shift coverage for same day joint surgeries.LocationOwen SoundRequired QualificationsMaster’s Degree in PhysiotherapyCurrent Independent Practice Certificate and registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of OntarioExcellent professional judgment, conflict resolution and interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, team members,
