Additionally, McAsphalt provides comprehensive services and technology solutions, encompassing paving, testing, research and development, engineering, and consulting.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesIn this role, your responsibilities as a Plant Operator I will include, but not be limited to, being responsible for monitoring the high pressure steam boiler and hot oil heater, completing issued work orders generated from our CMMS, tank farm operation, manufacturing asphaltic products, loading and offloading tankers, operating mobile equipment, preventative maintenance and other general duties at the McAsphalt Regina Terminal. You will follow all standard operating procedures and policies established by the McAsphalt Operations department.Shift InformationYou will be required to work rotations between days and evenings, no nights,



plus working weekends can be frequent so the ability to work overtime is required.Qualifications Considered4th Class or 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate but would consider process operator experience would be considered.Millwright experience with journeyperson status would be an asset.Electrical experience with journeyperson status would be an asset.Previous experience with high pressure boilers or heating equipment.Pipefitting or welding experience would be an asset.A strong work ethic and ability to work in small team(s).A reliable method of transportation.Ability to work effectively under pressure, being responsible, resourceful and autonomous.Ability to work outdoors at heights and in all environments.Experience with pumps, piping, heat tracing, hot oil heaters will be considered an asset.Excellent verbal and written communications in English with a robust interpersonal attitude.Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 at the intermediate level with strong organizational skills.Lock Out / Tag Out knowledge.Confined space Entry experience.Previous mobile equipment operation.Computerized Maintenance Management experience.Compensation InformationCompensation for this role is $28-32 /hourCultureMcAsphalt Industries does not use artificial intelligence (AI) or any automated decision‑making tools to screen, assess, or select applicants during our recruitment and hiring processes.
