The incumbent ensures facilities are safe, efficient, and well presented through cleaning, maintenance, and administrative tasks.ResponsibilitiesPerform cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing windows, doors, and other surfaces.Sanitize washrooms, toilets, sinks, mirrors and replenish supplies.Change garbage and recycling bins.Disinfect high‑touch surfaces and maintain a hygienic environment.Report any damages, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to the supervisor.Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete assigned tasks efficiently.Assist with maintaining the facility, ensuring all areas are clean, safe and well‑presented.Complete administrative tasks: recording attendance, preparing documentation,



and completing injury and incident reports.QualificationsExperience in facility maintenance or general caretaking.Reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and solid time‑management skills.Ability to follow procedures and maintain excellent attention to detail.Flexible schedule, including office and after‑hours work as required.Pass a satisfactory criminal record check and provide proof of qualifications.CompensationHourly rate: $22.03 – $23.38.Additional InformationThe Town is committed to diversity and inclusivity in employment and welcomes applications from qualified individuals of diverse backgrounds.
