Job Title: Electronics Engineering Technologist D - Medical PhysicsDepartment: CANC Medical Physics CZType of Employment: Permanent Hourly FT (100%) x 1NSGEU Support PositionPosting Closing Date: 11-May-26About the OpportunityReporting to the Department Head of Medical Physics, the Electronics Technologist collaborates with the Mechanical Technologist, Physics Assistant, Physics Residents and Medical Physicists, Radiation Therapists and Radiation Oncologists as part of the maintenance team for NSCC radiation therapy equipment. The Technologist is responsible for electronics associated machine repair, preventative maintenance, and maintaining parts inventory. Participates in coordinating workflow, preventative maintenance schedules, and prioritization, in addition to mentorship of junior staff.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Grade 12 DiplomaGraduate of a post-secondary 2-year Electronics Engineering program required(CET) Certified Electronic Technologist certification requiredAt least five (5) years of linear accelerator experience with a combination of IT or x-ray imaging equipment maintenanceIf no qualified applicants, consideration may be given to applicants with five (5) years of relevant experience, consisting of at least 1 year of linear accelerator experience and the remainder consisting of any combination of IT or x-ray imaging equipment maintenanceIf no qualified applicants, consideration may also be given to applicants with two (2) years of relevant experience in IT and/or x-ray imaging equipment maintenanceTroubleshooting and maintaining electronic, high vacuum,
