The role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization and provides strategic partnership, focusing on quality, insight, and enabling finance to support decision‑making at both operational and enterprise levels. The Director will strengthen financial reporting to the Board and Ministry,



support clinical and operational leaders, and ensure financial discipline aligns with Ontario Shores’ recovery‑oriented mission.QualificationsIdeal candidates are CPA‑designated finance leaders with progressive experience in healthcare or the broader public sector, possessing both strategic perspective and operational discipline. They have a proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear plans and execute with confidence. Strong experience with hospital or ministry reporting, budgeting, and performance management is essential. Leadership maturity, sound judgment, credibility, and a collaborative, coaching‑oriented style that builds confidence in others are required.
