Your OpportunityUnder the supervision of the Lead - Supply Management, the Procurement Specialist I performs purchasing functions consistent with established AHS procurement policies and practices within the inventory portfolio that services warehouses across the province. You will be responsible for the acquisition of supplies for multiple warehouses in a set portfolio, expediting product, solving and escalating issues, and providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers. You will perform the acquisition process primarily for purchases of a transactional nature which includes the creation of purchase agreements and issuance of purchase orders. You will issue purchase orders using preset templates according to established rules outlining segregation of duties, expedite materials ensuring on‑time delivery and resolve all invoice discrepancies. You will actively participate in daily provincial zero‑fill calls and ensure supply issues are actioned and addressed in a timely manner.
