OverviewOur client, a multidisciplinary design and engineering firm with a solid presence in Western Canada, is seeking a Structural Engineer to be based out of their Vancouver office. This is a permanent, full-time role, offering a base salary commensurate with experience (CA$85,000.00/yr - CA$125,000.00/yr), along with a competitive vacation and benefits package. This position will play a key role in structural design and calculations, preparing drawings and construction services.ResponsibilitiesPerform structural analysis and design for a variety of municipal, residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including existing buildings and structuresComplete structural calculations and prepare and edit structural specificationsReview engineering design for compliance with established codes, standards, and specifications; provide technicalsupport to designers and draftersPrepare reports and other technical documentation as required by the clientCommunicate with clients, vendors, and contractorsSupport senior staff with inter-discipline coordination, project reporting,
