They deliver and manage the administration of oxygen and other compressed gases, aerosolized medications and high humidity therapies. They also perform and interpret related pulmonary diagnostic testing. Respiratory Therapists act as part of the multidisciplinary health care team to help achieve physician goals for patients’ cardiorespiratory status, assess, plan, deliver and evaluate effectiveness of respiratory care and airway management for patients.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Graduate of a recognized School of Respiratory TherapyMust hold/maintain registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory TherapistsMust hold/maintain certification in CPR at NRP and ACLS levelsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamEffective planning, organizing and supervising abilitiesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust be adaptable and flexible to adjust to the changing needs of the service and the program/facilityCompetencies in other languages an asset,
