The role of the General Labourer is to assist with yard maintenance, cleaning of equipment, managing inventories, and helping around the shop. Other duties include general site clean up, directing traffic, and other tasks as assigned.ResponsibilitiesAssisting machine operators on siteMaintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility by sweeping, shoveling, mowing, and removing debris as necessaryMaintenance of fleet equipment, e.G. washFollow all workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations, participate in identifying hazardsAssist with environmental compliance protocolsEstablish or adjust daily tasks/schedules to meet changing order prioritiesProvide internal and external Customer Service excellenceSuggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crewAbility to understand cross training on all functions at facilityMay be asked to travel to other facilities if necessaryMonitor and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the coordinator#J-18808-Ljbffr
