and proactively identifying issues or risksCollaborate closely with the Human Resources team to support employee lifecycle changes and continuous improvement of payroll and benefits processesLiaise with external payroll and benefits service providersSupport payroll‑ and benefits‑related inquiries throughout the employee lifecycleWho you are (must‑have)Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in payroll and benefits administrationStrong knowledge of payroll functions, employment legislation, procedures, and relevant regulationsProven ability to apply evidence‑based decision‑making with a strong customer service mindsetClear and effective communication skills in English; French is considered anassetHigh attention to detail with the ability to recognize, investigate, and resolve payroll discrepanciesStrong problem‑solving skills with a logical and solution‑oriented approachWorking knowledge of payroll and benefits systems and related reporting requirementsIntermediate proficiency in Excel, including the use of formulasExperience with HRIS, UKG, and workforce management systems is considered an assetPayroll designation (PCP or CPM) from the National Payroll Institute is preferredBenefits of being a part of the CB TeamCompetitive compensationComprehensive flex benefits programRRSP matchingPaid time off on your birthdayPersonal development subsidyEmployee recognition programContinued career development opportunitiesConstructive, engaging organizational cultureOpportunity to work alongside experienced professionalsCompensation$55,000 - $85,000Canadian Bearings provides the salary range for this position to promote fairness and transparency.
