Regular full-time position (unionized) Workplace: L’Orignal Schedule: 35 hours/week Hourly rate: $29.14 Under the direction of the Building Maintenance Supervisor, the Building Mechanic is primarily responsible for minor repairs inside and outside the building located at 59 Court Street in L'Orignal, but may also be required to work in other Corporation buildings. The incumbent must ensure that the assigned building is well maintained, clean, sanitary, and secure. Closing date: 4:00 p.M., August 27, 2026 Requirements: High school diploma; Diplomaor post-secondary certificate (one school year) in a related field such as building maintenance, construction, millwright, plumbing, ventilation heating and air conditioning (HVAC)



or equivalent experience; Abilityto communicate easily in French and English (oral and written); Must beable to use work tools and equipment; Have knowledge and understanding of WHMIS; Willingto work evenings and weekends as required; Be ableto identify the products used and maintain material safety data sheets on site; Abilityto interpret instructions, laws, codes, regulations and construction plans. A criminal record check must be provided upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.
