The Tax and Revenue Administration (TRA) division is looking for auditors for our audit team. We are an enthusiastic, goal-orientated and knowledgeable team – join us!Reporting to a Senior Manager in the audit branch, you will conduct desk and field audits and reviews, of low and medium complexity, involving a variety of corporate tax, commodity tax or royalty programs. You will be required to perform audit planning, sample selection, develop audit programs, gain a comprehension of the auditee’s individual accounting processes, and complete substantive audit testing. You will use your extensive knowledge and audit skills to ensure that returns are reported accurately under the Acts and Regulations administered by the TRA Audit branch. You will also be challenged to demonstrate creativity and innovation in identifying audit efficiencies and adapting to changing environments in Alberta's tax and royalty programs. As an auditor, you will be responsible for identifying potential regulatory or policy issues,



as well as providing comprehensive analysis and detailed recommendations to senior management.You must be able to prioritize to ensure you meet tight timelines. You have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and are able to articulate and present complex issues to a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and interpretative skills as well as attention to detail and accuracy will assist you in this role.
