And we’re just getting started!The RoleOn a small, high-velocity Agents team with outsized impact, this role is for a senior product engineer who wants to build how AI agents actually show up in production.You will design and implement the product-side systems that allow Solink’s AI Agents to reason, act, and deliver value inside our cloud VMS platform. This includes backend services (TypeScript/Node), agent orchestration layers, APIs, tool integrations, and user-facing workflows that turn models into real, reliable capabilities.This is not a feature-factory role. You are building the execution layer of our agent systems—tool use, workflow coordination, safety boundaries, latency management, and production reliability.This is a high-ownership role. You are expected to move quickly, ship working systems, and make strong implementation decisions while collaborating closely with product, data,



and platform teams.You will have direct access to the latest AI models and tooling, with the autonomy to apply them pragmatically where they create measurable product impact.What You’ll DoImplement and evolve agent orchestration services in TypeScript/NodeDesign and ship production-grade APIs and workflows that expose agent capabilitiesIntegrate LLM/VLM systems with internal tools, permissions, and data sourcesEnforce safety, guardrails, and failure handling in agent execution pathsOptimize latency, reliability, and scalability of agent-facing services in AWS/EKSInstrument systems for tracing, debugging, and performance visibilityOperate in tight feedback loops, shipping working code and validating ideas quicklyWhat You’ll BringMust-HavesStrong TypeScript / Node.Js experience building and operating production systemsExperience deploying and running distributed services in AWS (EKS preferred)Experience integrating LLMs / VLMs into production workflowsStrong understanding of distributed systems (reliability, scaling, failure isolation)Experience instrumenting systems for observability and debugging (OpenTelemetry or similar)Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end product-facing systems in productionNice-to-HavesExperience building AI agent frameworks or orchestration layersExperience implementing safety controls and guardrails around model executionExperience designing event-driven or tool-based architecturesExperience working in a small, high-velocity startup or AI-first environmentSecurity RequirementsCandidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire; Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included),
