Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to support the delivery of reports, dashboards, and data analysis for assigned business units. Reporting to VP, Data, Analytics & AI., you will maintain existing reporting environments, respond to ad hoc data requests, and contribute to the development of new BI solutions. All hiring decisions are reviewed and made by qualified hiring professionals.Zurich follows a hybrid work model requiring three days per week of in-person presence, which may include time in the office or market-facing engagements.What you will doDevelop, maintain, and refresh dashboards and recurring reports for assigned business areasRespond to ad hoc analytical and data requests from business stakeholders within agreed service levelsExtract, clean, and validate data from source systems to support analytical deliverablesDocument report logic, data sources, and data refresh processesIdentify and elevate data quality issues,
coordinating with data engineering or source system owners to resolve discrepanciesParticipate in requirements gathering and stakeholder sessions as skills and relationships developSupport continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate or streamline manual reportingContribute to shared team documentation, data dictionaries, and reporting standardsJob QualificationsRequired5+ years of experience in a data, analytics, or reporting-focused rolePost-secondary education in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)PreferredStrong analytical mindset with a high degree of attention to detail and data accuracyAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented working styleExposure to enterprise data warehouse or database environmentsBasic understanding of data visualization and reporting best practicesAt Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity. We determine compensation based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, and internal equity. The salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000.
