We are expanding our leadership team and looking for an experiencedHuman Resources Managerto help build and strengthen our people strategy.This role is based in ourNorth York head office near Don Mills and Sheppard, working closely with leadership to support recruitment, culture development, employee relations, and HR systems.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoysbuilding processes, supporting teams, and shaping workplace culture in a growing organization.This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building systems, supporting staff, and working closely with leadership to maintain a robust workplace culture.Position OverviewThe HR Manager will oversee the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, HR policy development, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. The successful candidate will work closely with management and accounting to ensure HR processes run efficiently and in compliance with employment standards.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & HiringManage the full recruitment cycle including job postings, screening candidates, interviews, and hiring.Coordinate and manage employee terminations when required in accordance with employment law.Work with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop hiring strategies.Employee Onboarding & TrainingCoordinate the onboarding process for all new hires.Set up new employees in HR and payroll systems includingBambooHR and QuickBooks Online Payroll .Ensure completion of employment agreements, tax forms, benefits enrollment,
and technology setup.Coordinate orientation and training schedules for new employees.HR Administration & ComplianceMaintain and update employee records and HR documentation.Manage and trackemployee vacation schedules and entitlements .Preparevacation payout reportsand coordinate with accounting throughQuickBooks Online .Work with the accounting team to prepareRecords of Employment (ROE)and payroll-related documentation.Ensure compliance withOntario Employment Standards Act and workplace regulations .Policy Development & HR SystemsDevelop, implement, and updateHR policies and procedures .Maintain the employee handbook and internal HR guidelines.Improve HR systems, reporting, and internal processes.Performance ManagementCoordinate and administerannual employee performance reviews .Work with management to track employee performance, development, and salary adjustments.Maintain documentation for performance improvement plans when necessary.Employee RelationsServe as the primary HR contact for employee questions and workplace concerns.Provide guidance to management and staff on HR policies and best practices.Support a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.HR Reporting & OperationsPrepare HR reports including headcount, vacation usage, and employee metrics.Support leadership with HR planning, organizational structure,
