This role will help lead the completion of transportation design projects. Typical projects include the functional, preliminary and/or detail designs of roads and highways, intersections, roundabouts, and active transportation facilities. Experience with traffic signals, Class Environmental Assessments, construction inspection and contract administration, although not essential, would be beneficial.The successful candidate will have the chance to grow into a Project Manager role, taking on more responsibilities and assisting with business development and overseeing select projects and team members.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the managing of multidisciplinary projects to ensure compliance with budgets and schedulesPrepare designs using Transportation Association of Canada (TAC), MTO and/or other standards; Prepare designs including vertical and horizontal alignments, roadside safety, drainage, grading, stging, pavement markings and signageProvide technical direction and training to junior staffConduct site visits and investigationsCoordinate with utility providers to confirm existing and/or planned infrastructureCoordinate with approval authoritiesCoordinate with clients and subconsultants, including meetings and presentations; andPrepare budgets, work plans,
