As a Guest Attendant, you’ll form a deep understanding of your residents and their living experience. You will build relationships with the residents and their family members, offering a variety of support options and program choices that enrich their daily health and well‑being. every day.What makes you a great fit?You are compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work that supports seniors in living life fullyYou are detailed‑oriented and have strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with residents and staffYou can work independently and/or as a member of a teamSupport residents with their activities of daily living including eating, dressing, hygiene and grooming as per residents individual plans of careAnswering all resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provides courteous serviceEnsures that residents own personal grooming is appropriate and uniform/dress is clean, tidy and according to dress codeAssist with transporting residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office and dining room as requiredProvide ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support; as well as oral and dental careCompleting laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignmentsWhat You Need To KnowGrade 12 minimum education requiredYou have ‘Safe Serve’ designation and one year experience in dining room serviceYou must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permitYou must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector CheckSienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this positionSienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
