Salary Range: $100,000.00 To $125,000.00 AnnuallyFull-time, permanent position for a Corporate Controller in the Accounting Department at our Leamington office.What You'll Do:Assist with credit applicationsMonitoring all bank accounts on a daily basis to report cash position to the VP of FinanceReview monthly bank reconciliations, relying heavily on Payroll, Accounts Payable and PurchasingMaintain oversight of financial transactions and account activityProvide banks with consolidated financials of the previous month on a monthly basisCommunicate with banks, clarify transactions and answer queriesEnsure all postings are verified and posted to correct accountsLead the month-end close process, preparing reconciliations and ensuring revenue/expenses are posted correctlyHandle confidential financial matters with government bodies (e.G., ROEs, BDO)Manage foreign exchange transactions in Canadian dollarsCooperate with audits (Payroll, WSIB, HST, Compliance)Review payroll entries posted by the financial analystPrepare and submit year-end government reportsOwn and troubleshoot accounting software issuesDrive process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability across finance operationsCollaborate with stakeholders to support business operations through accurate reportingProcess wire payments, bill payments, transfers and other cash transactions via online bankingVerify all withdrawals from accounts such as interest, paymentsEnsure retention of recordsEnsure staff are onboarded on new programs and used correctlyInterview for front-end staff openingsAdvocate for new positions when necessaryLead employee training and follow-up to maintain efficiency and accuracy; ongoing training may berequiredProvide strong leadership to the accounting and finance team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementCoach, mentor and develop team members, building capability and successionSet clear expectations, give regular feedback,
