Empower.Street Culture Project is hiring a Youth Housing & Staffing Managerto provide operational leadership to our Transitional Housing programs. You’ll oversee frontline Youth Care Workers, coordinate staffing coverage, and ensure that youth in our Peer Homes and Shelter receive protected, consistent, trauma‑informed care. This hands‑on management role works closely with on‑site Supervisors and program leadership to keep our housing programs running smoothly.This role is ideal for an experienced Youth Care Worker, Team Lead, or Supervisor ready to step into a formal management position.Key ResponsibilitiesCoach, train, and support Youth Care Workers using trauma‑informed, youth‑centered approachesCoordinate daily staffing schedules and coverage across multiple housing locationsProvide real‑time guidance and support to staff during shiftsEnsure program standards, policies, and documentation requirements are metCollaborate with program leadership to support high‑quality care and continuous improvementQualificationsMinimum 2 years of direct youth care experience (required)Experience supervising staff or acting as a team lead (asset)A deep commitment to equity, harm reduction, cultural humility,



and trauma‑informed careExcellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressureA drive to build others up, improve systems, and hold space for complexityAdditional RequirementsStrong time management and documentation skillsValid SK Driver’s License and acceptable driver abstractCriminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance (upon hire)Comfortable using HR software, scheduling systems, and Microsoft OfficeFirst Aid/CPR, ASIST, or Mental Health First Aid (asset; training can be provided)Why Work With UsAt Street Culture Project, we’re not just a team—we’re a movement.
