Position OverviewReporting to the Drilling & Development Supervisor, the Development Miner is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our Jumbo rig, ensuring meticulous preparation of faces for blasting in strict adherence to Kidd Operations’ standard operating procedures. The Development Miner will employ best practices to mitigate risks and maintain a safe working environment while executing drilling and development tasks.ResponsibilitiesOperating the Jumbo for drilling, loading, and blasting drift/ramp rounds, ensuring precision and safetyPreparing faces and conducting associated services to facilitate efficient mining operationsInstalling ground control support systems, including rock bolts, rebar, Swellex, and screen, to maintain safety standardsUtilizing mechanized bolting platforms, staging equipment, scissor lifts, or muck piles as requiredLoading, hauling, dumping, and leveling muck as necessary to support ongoing operationsAssisting with additional duties, including haulage truck operation and stope mucking when neededQualificationsFull Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core certificationA minimum of 2 years of underground mining experience,
