This role focuses on accident prevention, regulatory compliance, driver safety performance, and fostering a strong safety culture within the company. Works closely with drivers, dispatch, maintenance, and management to maintain high safety standards and protect our people, equipment, and public road users.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily monitoring of driver Hours of Service logs via ELD softwareMonitor speed records and real-time truck speeds through fleet tracking systemsAdminister and track drug and alcohol testingConduct reviews of drivers qualification file, ensuring all documents are current and on-filePerform new-driver orientation, including safety policies and defensive driving trainingRecord and investigate all incidents, including cargo damage, collisions, and DOT inspectionsOpen and manage accident claims with our insurance carrier, coordinate with adjusters,
