The location in Montreal, ( Quebec, Canada ), is seeking talent to fill the position of Logistics Coordinator. This job is full-time permanent. In addition to implementing shipping plans for the factories and loading areas under their responsibility, the Logistics Coordinator will have the following responsibilities: Ensure that suppliers meet order delivery deadlines; Ensure we have the necessary capacity to ship our orders and meet our billing targets Supply our distribution centers in a way that optimizes transportation costs and inventory levels, while maintaining an adequate level of customer service; Perform inventoryreconciliation for our distribution centers; Provide operational support to the factories and distribution centers; Manage the fleet of railcars in transit (diversion, rebill, overweight, etc.); Negotiate daily withtruck drivers (spot market). Reporting to the Logistics Operations Supervisor, you will be part of a dynamic team where your diverse skills will be put to positive use.
