The aide will assist the teacher in taking care of the physical and emotional needs of the student.Performance ResponsibilitiesTo assist in providing a school atmosphere that promotes positive psychosocial development and provides constructive learning experiences.To establish oneself as a positive influence in the school's climate and culture.To demonstrate ability to work in collaboration with students, faculty, parents, coworkers and administration.Demonstrated experience in maintaining a qualified perspective at all times, with the ability to not internalize or personalize (e.G. emotionally) in regard to certain student behaviors or mannerisms that occur.To maintain ongoing communication with classroom teacher(s) and administration.Data Collection as determined by student IEP's.To assist the classroom teacher(s) and administration with non-teaching duties including but not limited to; assisting students withvarious projects, crafts, and curriculum tasks, assisting students in bus transportation, management and supervision of students, clerical work and maintaining an environment which is conducive to learning.To attend trainings, meetings and special programs as required.To adhere to all published school policies and regulations, including those which pertain to employees' attendance, work invoices, confidentiality of information, supervision of students and safety.MiscellaneousMiscellaneous:
