You will be an advocate for our people, providing daily human resources support to Canada and the US, while enabling our managers to focus on what they do best.A Day in the LifeProvide daily HR support to the Integrated Global Services (IGS) branchDeliver high-quality service and advice to the IGS branch leadership team on employee relations and performance management situationsCollaborate with the larger Long View People Services (PS) team to implement programs which help improve the employee experienceAdminister HR policies, procedures,
programs and disability managementManage compensation changes and promotionsAssist PS leadership with HR trending and analysisManage HRIS & benefits administrationReview quarterly vacation and sick time balances and handle escalated issuesManage onboarding of new hiresPartner with leaders to proactively address employee relations, coaching through complex people situations before they escalate, with a focus on achieving fair, win‑win outcomes and supporting meaningful employee improvement and growthSupport with Long View’s culture by fostering belonging through IGS initiatives, community engagement, and coordination of IGS fun events, including branch social and community impact activitiesSupport the Health & Safety program for the branchAssist with international visas & various immigration mattersSupport the Career Life Planning process, including attending these sessions for employees each quarterWhat You Bring3+ years of experience in a Human Resources roleUnderstanding of HR best practices and current regulations in Canada and the USHigh emotional intelligence,
