The dedication is upheld and deployed through four key team functions – Policy, Testing, Advisory and Operations – that together build the Global Anti-Money Laundering (GAML) Program and professional community. AML Operations establishes processes to identify unusual and suspicious activities and transactions at the Bank, enterprise wide. The centralized team manages the daily activities related to Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy, Enhanced Due Diligence, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption. Roles help to support compliance in these areas and other legislation in each jurisdiction where the organization operates. This is a key resource and specialist role within a collaborative environment of 10–15 per team, with a 3-week AML training period and intensive onboarding focused on theory, system training, and regulatory knowledge. Performance will be measured by KPI – productivity and quality assurance.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct analysis of transactional activity to identify risks, trends,
and potential suspicious activity; determine whetherfurther investigation is requiredPrioritize and manage own workload to meet service level requirements for service and productivityProtect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks, and elevate non-standard, high-risk transactions / activities as necessaryBe knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging trends for own functional areaAct as a key resource/specialist owner or representative by providing technical subject matter expertise, analysis, or operational process support on AML/ATF and other sanctions-related mattersContribute to the identification and implementation of recent products, operating workflow, additional services/products/applications, or operational efficienciesRun and review information against various lists and guidelines; ensure accuracy and flag deviationsManage and process activities with multiple steps, systems, and jurisdictions; focus of work is weekly, monthly or longer with additional ad-hoc responsibilities as requiredFind opportunities to improve service delivery and support operational improvementEnsure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all transactions/activitiesRequire in-depth knowledge in a range of products and services, processes, procedures,
