The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Elkford, B.C is necessary.In this role you willParticipate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policiesFabricate and install piping arrangements for slurry, water,
and refuse lines ranging from 2" to 36"Diagnose pipe system failures in the processing facilityDisassemble and reassemble system componentsWeld, cement, and thread joints to join pipes using soldering and welding equipmentMaintain, create and record work order recordsIn certain components of this role, it is mandatory to wear a respirator which requires an interference free seal.RequirementsValid Interprovincial Red Seal Pipefitter certificationAbility to read and interpret blueprints and project specificationsSmall Water and Small Wastewater systems ticket would be an assetValid driver’s licenseWorking knowledge of basic computer systems (Microsoft Office®)Ability to work independently or as part of a team and to work cross functionally between tradesExperience in a mining environment is an assetBenefitsTwo Annual Performance BonusesTrades Retention BonusHealth Lifestyle AccountMedical, Dental, Vision CoverageRetirement PackageRelocation AssistanceHourly Wage$53.78To all applicants, your interest and effort are sincerely appreciated.
