We are looking to hire aTraining Coordinatorto join ourTimmins Operationsteam in Timmins, ON, on afull-time basis .Compensation:This position offers a salary range of $110,000 – $125,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.Vacancy Status:This is an existing vacancy. The successful candidate may begin as soon as possible.Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.The role of the Training Coordinator will be to lead, develop, and support training initiatives across all sites to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and certifications required to work safely and effectively.Reporting to the Health and Safety Superintendent, the Training Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:Provide Safety support for growth projects, including contractor onboarding, site audits, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety programsCoordinate Mine Rescue training programs and support competition teams across all sitesLead the delivery, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal training programsChampion and sustain training programs following implementation to ensure long-term effectivenessDevelop and deliver onboarding and training packages for critical systems (e.G., CRM, HOP, Sofvie)
for new and existing leadersDesign training materials and facilitate refresher training sessions to maintain competency and complianceChair and implement a Training Steering Committee to drive alignment on training prioritiesCollaborate with stakeholders to promote effective communication of critical risks and HOP principlesSupport risk identification and mitigation efforts, fostering a proactive, risk-aware cultureBuild and maintain training databases to ensure all employees meet certification and regulatory requirementsDevelop and maintain site-specific training matrices to ensure adequate operational coverageAssist in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all sitesMore About YouWhile our ideal candidate has the following qualifications, we welcome applicants who may not meet every criterion to apply.The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage audiencesExperience with Mine Rescue training programs and emergency response coordinationUnderground (UG) Common Core certificationExcellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsCertification or experience delivering specialty training (e.G., Working at Heights, Confined Space)Ability to effectively communicate and reinforce safety principles at all levels of the organizationAdaptable and responsive, with the ability to adjust priorities based on evolving safety directives and focus areasOverall,
