paraprofessionals and technical staff; and performing other dutiesKnowledge and skills required for this position:Robust knowledge of the science of nutrition as it applies to general nutrition:Knowledge of administrative practices and procedures as they apply to the management of nutrition services in a health care institution; Ability to manage,plan, organize, implement and control a dietary service in a primary health care hospital; Ability to work independently and problem-solve, as well as within a primary health care team; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.Demonstrated skills in working with diverse patient populations.Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity.Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills.Comfortable with computer software, and willingness to learn Computrition Software, Meditech, UKG and other electronic medical records.The successful applicant is required to have a degree from a recognized university with a specialization in nutrition, dietetics, commerce or relevant related field or commensurate experience; 3-5 years of supervisoror management experience in a hospital setting.
