We pride ourselves on the excellent reputation we have built over the years; it has been earned through the completion of many successful projects and quality relationships.Job TitleHeavy Duty Equipment Mechanic (421A) to join our team of skilled fleet and operations professionals.ScheduleRegular day shift with no weekend work.What you’ll be doing:Inspect equipment in operation, test equipment, systems and componentsAdjust, repair or replace parts and components of equipment systems including fuel system, using hand tools and other specialized repair equipmentTest and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specificationsAdvise company on work performed, general equipment condition and future repair requirementsPerform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune upsInspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, axles and brake systems,



to locate faults and malfunctionsOccasionally perform mobile services on a rotating basis with other mechanicsRequirements:License with a clean abstractProven mechanical abilities in hydraulics and electrical, including schematics and diagnosticsFamiliarity with construction sites is an assetPhysical ability to lift upwards of 50lbsFamiliarity with hazards associated with the tradeEmployment Credentials:Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) or Agricultural Equipment Technician (425A) Certificate of Qualification, Truck and Coach Technician (310T) orCurrently enrolled in Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) apprenticeship program.
