Learn more at https://e.Inc/aboutWe're looking for a full-stack Staff Developer to be a technical leader and key contributor on our EBlock digital wholesale auction platform. In this role, you'll tackle our most complex technical challenges, drive the design and implementation of critical features, and elevate the engineers around you through mentorship and collaboration.This is a deeply hands-on role. You'll spend the majority of your time writing code, optimizing performance, and solving tough technical problems throughout the stack while also influencing technical decisions and helping your team deliver high-quality solutions that scale.We offer a competitive salary ($170,000.00 - $190,000.00); a competitive bonus plan; paid time off; participation in our perks, RRSP matching, and life insurance programs; continuous learning; an amazing culture; and so much more!What You Will DoDesign and implement complex features and systems that power our real-time auction platformLead technical design discussions and drive architectural decisions within your teamWrite high-quality, well-tested code and set the standard for engineering excellenceMentor and support fellow engineers through code reviews, pairing,



and technical guidanceCollaborate with product managers and stakeholders to break down requirements into technical solutionsProfile and optimize application performance, identifying bottlenecks in code, queries, and infrastructureLead troubleshooting efforts for complex production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing fixesMonitor system health and proactively address scalability concerns before they impact usersContribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and team processesParticipate in technical planning and help estimate and scope workWhat You Will NeedBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience7+ years of professional software development experienceStrong expertise in Java application development for complex systems serving web and mobile clientsExperience building and scaling high-traffic applicationsProven ability to diagnose and resolve complex performance issues across the stackFamiliarity with profiling tools, query optimization, and performance monitoringSolid understanding of application architecture patterns and best practicesAbility to own features end-to-end,
