Job description:Monthly rotation (1 month days, 1 month afternoons, 1 month nights)Oversee and ensure the effective production of products while meeting company standards of quality, safety and operational policiesMaintain adherence to GMP / AIB, Health and Safety Standards, and company regulationsMonitor and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize operational efficiencyConduct shift meetings to review departmental performance against production, health and safety, AIB, and scheduling criteriaEnsure timely preparation and staging of work orders and materials for upcoming 24 hoursMaintain adherence to manufacturing schedules, promptly addressing any deviationsConduct Root Cause Analysis with corrective actions and follow through on implementing the actions requiredMonitor employee attendance and performance, conducting semi-annual reviews and monthly team meetingsEnforce discipline and compliance with company policiesMonitor and uphold the integrity of production dataAssign production personnel to operate equipment based on production needsCoordinate press approvals / trials with key personnelEnsure completion of all necessary production documentationDemonstrate and uphold company core valuesSupervise manufacturing personnel to uphold safety, quality, and productivity standardsIdentify and propose enhancements to facilities, equipment, and procedures for improved safety, quality, and efficiencyPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Post secondary technical education asset ; will consider experience equivalent5 yrs+ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with Food Safety industry standardsExperience with Flexo printing process an assetKnowledge of Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma principles an assetStrong time and change management skills with a reputation for punctuality and reliabilityCollaborative attitude with ability to interact effectively with management and colleaguesLeadership skills and ability to see the bigger picture and react quickly to changing prioritiesKnowledge in Health & Safety StandardsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer literateWhy is This a Great Opportunity:** busy company with long historySalary Type: Annual SalarySalary Min: CA$ 75000Salary Max: CA$ 80000Currency Type: CAD#J-18808-Ljbffr
