What is the Opportunity?As part of an alliance agreement, Aecon has been awarded a contract in an Aecon-led partnership with Kiewit Nuclear Canada by Ontario Power Generation (OPG) for the execution phase on the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP) in Clarington, Ontario. In 2025, Aecon began construction of the Unit 1 Small Modular Reactor at the Darlington site.Job SummaryThe STP Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the Separation & Treatment Plant to efficiently separate solids, oil, and contaminants from wastewater generated during construction and tunnelling activities. The role ensures safe operation, environmental compliance, and continuous plant availability to support site operations.Key Responsibilities – Plant OperationOperate and monitor separation and treatment units including settling tanks, separators, hydrocyclones, clarifiers, oil‑water separators, and chemical dosing systems.Control pumps, valves, mixers, and conveyors to maintain steady plant throughput.Adjust flow rates, pressures, and dosing to optimize separation efficiency.Monitoring & Quality ControlMonitor inlet and outlet water quality (pH, turbidity, suspended solids,
