This includes oversight in warehousing, shipping/receiving procedures, and ensuring the safety of all employees while utilizing WMS and SAP inventory control and billing. Oversight includes team building, appraising employees, setting goals, approving pay, administering coaching, and in certain cases discipline. Serves as a change agent and facilitator of continuous improvement processes.What You'll Be DoingInstitute a safe workplace ensuring the safety of all employees, including compliance with forklift operating guidelines.Oversight and supervision of shipping and warehousing activities for the shift crew.Ensure daily activities are in compliance with all McCain shipping/receiving procedures, regulatory bodies of HACCP, customer audits, Fire commissioners’ office, environmental agencies (ISO).Effective communication to ensure shift goals are discussed, ensuring issues are communicated and addressed.Policy deployment including revisions to existing procedures and implementing changes required of outdated procedures.Approve employees’ time for wages and vacation, administer coaching and appraise employees, and administer discipline if needed.Drive everyday engagement.Work toward shift goals in safety, shipping, and receiving schedule compliance, and facilitate efficient practices to meet shift productivity and forklift impact monitoring (Info-Link Goals).Measures Of SuccessKey measure: shift loading/unloading adherence to TMS.Valuable communication and leadership monitored by Our Voice,



shift startup meetings, shift hand‑off meetings, resolving employee issues including absenteeism, and ensuring staffing levels adequate for shipping/receiving operations.Efficient loading crews with minimal issues regarding timely loading, timely receiving, accuracy of orders, accuracy of inventory, and fulfillment of shift metric goals. Must be visible throughout the shift on the warehouse floor, following up on tasks and supervising duties.What You'll Need To Be Successful3 years’ experience in leadership roles with a focus on Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing. Previous experience in an acting supervisor role will be highly regarded.WMS knowledge, strong leadership and coaching skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong communication skills required, managing and responding to e‑mail volume.Experience and ability to problem‑solve, analyze trends, coach, and lead to facilitate McCain's shift goals.Must oversee refrigeration operations on the assigned crew and is recommended the incumbent has or obtains an ammonia class refrigeration certificate.Compensation Package$58,800.00 - $78,500.00 CAD annually + Bonus EligibilityBenefitsEmployees are eligible for health coverage (medical, dental, vision, prescription drug), retirement savings benefits, and leave support including medical, family and bereavement.
