The ideal candidate will need to have prior experience in route supervision in a fast‑paced environment.What you’ll doDirect, supervise and manage drivers and assigned routesDevelop strategies to optimize route productivityTrain new employees in the use of equipment, safety and driving hazardsProvide employee supervision and problem solvingRide with drivers to detect errors in driving the vehicle or servicing accountsDirect research into causes of customer complaintsAssist in researching, analyzing, designing and implementing routesDesign and implement safety policies and proceduresMaintain employee and customer retention rate through active communication and problem‑solving effortsCreate presentations and other management‑level reportsPerform other duties as assigned or requestedQualificationsBachelor's degree is preferred but equivalent experience will be consideredValid driver license with a clean driving record (we require a Driver’s abstract)2+ years of Customer Service, Account Management, Delivery Driving and/or Sales experience2+ years of management experience (including training and development)Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
