Job DescriptionAdvanced level DIY sales position with expert knowledge of DIY business. The role has expert knowledge of store operations, advanced automotive system knowledge and parts knowledge. The role is responsible for providing advanced automotive problem resolution including identification, troubleshooting, and project assistance for DIY customers. It includes sourcing from multiple channels such as special order, FDO, second source, etc., and in‑depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes. Fleet safety is preferred.Primary ResponsibilitiesBest in class customer service and DIY issue resolutionProvide GAS3 selling experience for all DIY customers including walk‑in, online orders, and phoneAchieve personal/store sales goals and service objectivesManage DIY services including testing, battery installation, wiper installs, etc.Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standardsKey holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)Secondary ResponsibilitiesAssist in store inventory processes including POGs, truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.Back up Professional servicesStore cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lotSuccess FactorsAdvanced selling skills (GAS3) for DIYFriendly communicationAbility to locate and stock partsSafety knowledge and skillsOperating inventory systems and store equipmentParts and automotive system knowledge skillsOperating POS and parts lookup systemsExpert at testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY servicesASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalentAdvanced solution, project and product quality recommendation abilityAdvanced parts lookup and sourcingEssential Job Skills Necessary for Success as a Retail Parts ProWorking knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic ability including internal engine, suspension, brakes, electronic, exhaust, etc.Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectivelyand build strong relationships with customers, peers, and managementAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Compensation RangeThe expected compensation for this role is between $17.60 CAD and $20.15 CAD per hour for a new team member.
