We work with architects, engineers, contractors, and facility managers across Canada and the United States. We're in a growth phase, expanding our reach through a new U.S. distribution partnership and building the systems to scale.This is not a corporate job. If you want to be part of something that's growing and have real ownership over how it runs, keep reading.The RoleWe're hiring a Sales Manager to run our sales team day to day. Your job is to make sure the team executes. That means running pipeline reviews, coaching reps, holding people accountable to their numbers, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.You'll manage a team of 3-4 sales reps at different experience levels. Some need coaching on how to close. Some need help staying organized. All of them need someone who brings structure, energy, and consistency to the floor every day.We're building an AI-forward sales operation. That means a lot of the admin, follow-up, and data work is handled by automation. Your job is to focus on the people - making them better at selling and better at serving our customers.What you will do:Run the sales rhythmLead weekly pipeline reviews and daily check-insSet and track individual and team KPIsOwn the forecast and report pipeline health to the VP weeklyMake sure every lead, quote,
and deal is tracked properly in our CRMDevelop the teamCoach reps through live deals - help them close, not just manageRun regular 1:1s focused on development, not just performanceIdentify skill gaps and build people up, not just point out what's wrongCreate an environment where people are excited to get better at their craftKeep the system runningEnforce CRM hygiene and process discipline across the teamWork within the sales tools we've built, and help the team adopt themFlag issues early - stale deals, rep struggles, customer problems - before they become firesCoordinate with operations on project handoffs, installation scheduling, and shipping. Our departments already work well together - your job is to tighten that relationship even more so sales and ops stay in lockstep as we grow.What we are looking for:Must have:3-5 years managing a small B2B sales team (3-8 people)Real experience running pipeline reviews and coaching reps through deal cyclesHands-on CRM experience - not just using it, but enforcing it across a teamComfortable with technology, AI tools, and automation - you don't need to build them,
but you need to embrace themStrong communication skills - you're the bridge between the sales team and leadershipWilling to travel for the occasional trade show or industry eventNice to have:Experience in specification sales (selling to architects, engineers, contractors)Background in construction, security, building materials, or commercial/industrial productsExperience working in a small company where you wear multiple hatsFamiliarity with Zoho CRMWhat matters most:You're a people-first manager.
