Employment Readiness CoordinatorWage/Salary Info:$27.00Location:SaskatoonEmployment Terms:Full-TimeAt Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundations Inc (TAYFFI) we are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team. The Employment Readiness Coordinator will support unemployed and/or under‑employed Black individuals, particularly those new to the Canadian workforce, through coaching, workshops, and individualized employment action planning.The incumbent will assist Black individuals facing multi-dimensional barriers to employment by providing essential employability and job‑readiness upskills, including resume writing, interview techniques, and soft skills. In addition, the coordinator will facilitate job placements, track participant progress, and connect clients with employers.Integral to the duties of the successful candidate is the ability to work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary partners, industry experts, employer communities, and skilled regulatory bodies to promote employment equity and intentional workplace equity across industries.



The candidate must be an astute public speaker with up‑to‑date knowledge of employment barriers faced by Black individuals and proven ability to develop sustainable strategies to mitigate emerging trends and service gaps, ensuring that no one is left behind in achieving positive socioeconomic outcomes and quality of life.ResponsibilitiesCoach participants through resume writing, interview techniques, and soft skill development.Facilitate job placements and track participant progress.Connect clients with employers and industry partners.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary partners, industry experts, employer communities, and professional regulatory bodies to promote employment equity and workplace equity.Develop and implement strategies to mitigate emerging trends and address service gaps, ensuring equitable outcomes.QualificationsUniversity Bachelor's Degree.1-2 years of relevant experience.Strong public speaking skills and up‑to‑date knowledge of employment barriers faced by Black individuals.Proven ability to develop and implement strategies promoting employment equity.Comprehensive knowledge of employment readiness skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
