The Employment Readiness Coordinator will support unemployed and/or under‑employed Black individuals, particularly those new to the Canadian workforce, through coaching, workshops, and individualized employment action planning.The incumbent will assist Black individuals facing multi-dimensional barriers to employment by providing essential employability and job‑readiness upskills, including resume writing, interview techniques, and soft skills. In addition, the coordinator will facilitate job placements, track participant progress, and connect clients with employers.Integral to the duties of the successful candidate is the ability to work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary partners, industry experts, employer communities, and skilled regulatory bodies to promote employment equity and intentional workplace equity across industries.
