The Willow Network is a 4‑year pilot program that provides crisis response, outreach, system navigation, and coordinated care to individuals of all ages who are currently being sex trafficked or experiencing the ongoing impacts of trafficking. Working within an interdisciplinary model, the team collaborates closely with community partners and local police services to enhance safety and improve outcomes for individuals impacted by human trafficking.Operating within the scope of practice as defined by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), the SSW delivers client‑centered, trauma‑informed, and strengths‑based support. This role focuses on providing practical, wrap‑around services that address immediate needs while promoting longer‑term stability, safety, and community integration. The SSW works in collaboration with clients, families, and service providers to support the coordination and implementation of individualized care plans, with a strong emphasis on hands‑on assistance in accessing housing, income support, primary and mental health care, legal resources, and community connections.Using a versatile, outreach‑based approach, the Social Service Worker meets clients where they are and provides responsive, practical support, including assistance with basic needs and system navigation. The SSW works closely with the MSW and broader interdisciplinary team to support coordinated care, contributing to service planning and implementation while collaborating on more complex clinical needs.This role emphasizes building trusting, respectful relationships,



reducing barriers to service, and supporting individuals in identifying and working toward their own goals. The SSW plays an integral role in ongoing care coordination and follow‑up, ensuring that supports remain responsive to the evolving needs of individuals impacted by sex trafficking.Education & ExperienceSocial Service Worker DiplomaValid Ontario Driver’s License with access to reliable transportation and coverage of $2 million liability insurance for transporting clients safely in a personal vehicle, required.Current registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, required.Annual completion of the OCSWSSW Continuing Competence Program to provide evidence of continuing competence to practice social work, according to the guidelines set by the College.Three (3) years’ experience providing direct intervention to individuals being sex trafficked.Three (3) years’ experience working directly with clients who are actively using substances from a harm reduction model.Three (3) years’ experience working effectively in complex, high‑risk, and fast‑paced environments within an outreach‑based model of care, including meeting clients in encampments, shelters, and other community settings.Demonstrated ability to be self‑motivated, proactive, and confident in taking initiative within a dynamic work environment. Skilled in using assertive,
