Succeed. is a growing, innovative, research-based, educational nonprofit charity serving children, youth and adults with diagnosed or suspected learning differences such as dyslexia and dyscalculia and other brain-based differences like ADHD and ASD. Our growing, affordable programs and services operate throughout Canada live online, from our LearningCentresin East Vancouver and North Vancouver, at in-school locations, and in Access, our electric vehicle mobile classroom.Purpose of PositionThis positionis a key player within the Admissions and Communication teams. They help broaden awareness of and applications for our programs. They do this by outreach, building further relationships with the community, and then supporting families during their application, intake and enrollment with Learn. Develop. Succeed. This person is often one of the first points of contact for families and learners joining our community, and this person may continue to steward families and be a trusted contact for them during their enrollment.Principal Roles and ResponsibilitiesIntakes and Consult CallsConducts intake meetings with families to place (or offer alternatives) for their learners for school-aged programs.Accurately creates typed records of information shared by families within these meetings, shares information on the programs, and addresses questions or concerns.Conducts Consult Calls with prospective parents, guardians and families.Holds an in-depth understanding of who each program on their portfolio is designed for.Provides information and assistance to applying parents, guardians and families on the process, program specifications, and other details.Uses and adopts online platforms and systems to manage and navigate learner admissions.PlacementContributes to placement decisions for RISE One-to-One in placement meetings.



Representing the learner based on information collected in intakes.Supports Program Managers in placement decisions for programs – representing the learner based on information collected in intakes.Sends formal placement offers to families; finetunes and troubleshoots placements with families as necessary throughout the year.Processes family requests to discontinue or change schedules and communicates action items to other members of the Support Team.Gathers information and documentation for family fee levels and for reporting to ED for requesting fee exceptions.Supports families in filling out external funding applications. Becomes a subject matter expert for our most frequently applied to funding applications.Communications and GeneralSupports with outreach, relationship building, awareness raising about the nature of our programs and services and helps to increase resource generation and applications for our programs.Meets regularly with the Senior Manager, Programs, and Admission team.May assist in the creation and implementation of program-specific policies.Manages their email and shared inboxes, prioritizes duties and email responses in order of urgency.Uses and adopts online platforms and follows detailed systems and processes to manage and navigate learner admissions.May provide Front Desk administrative support as needed.*Tasks outside of those explicitly outlined may be expected during times of increased need*Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (English; French not required)Excellent interpersonal skillsAttention to detail when following instructionsSelf-motivated and self-directedTime management skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task.Exceptionally organized using digital shared platforms (databases, Excel, etc.). Interested in and able to learn new software for learner and family management.Compassionate and caring, with an ability to set qualified and privacy boundaries in sometimes challenging situations.RequirementsRelevant experience working in a customer-facing role, working specifically with vulnerable populations an asset.Criminal Record Check with the vulnerable sector.Eligibility to work in Canada.Understanding and experience with a neuro affirming approach and language, an asset. If not, willingness to learn and adopt language, mindset and approach is a requirement.Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite.Access to a reliable vehicle an asset (mileage paid for work travel with vehicle).Start date and termThis position will start May 4, 2026 or as soon thereafter as possible. We are hiring for two positions for this role, and they are funded for the summer (16 weeks May to August) by Canada Summer Jobs. One Coordinator may have the potential of continuing on with us in an ongoing role.This job posting will be open until both roles are filled.Reports toThis position reports to the Senior Manager, Programs [Admissions]Wage$29.40 per hour. Vacation of 4% will be paid out with each pay cheque.Hours of work37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, May through August.LocationEast Vancouver Learning Centre, 3292 E Broadway, with possibility of flexibility at North Vancouver Learning Centre.Expectations and Working ConditionsPosition will involve long periods of sitting and using office equipment.Position will also require community outreach, including travel around Greater Vancouver with another colleague by various modes of transport.Frequent interruptions from team members/families, depending on the working location.Depending on the time of day, the working location may be loud and busy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
