The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Account Specialist to join our inside sales team. In this role you’ll build relationships with warm leads to educate them Bryan's processes and turn leads into new accounts. You'll also support our existing consignors to grow the partnership, manage your sales pipeline, provide exceptional account support, and collaborate closely with Operations, Administration, Marketing, and Leadership to ensure a seamless consignor experience from initial conversation through auction completion.
The Ins and Outs of the Job
Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing and Business Development, you will:
- Communicate with internal leads and follow up on business opportunities to understand the needs of potential consignors
- Maintain detailed knowledge of consignment and buy-it-now processes and confidently communicate these processes to consignors
- Educate potential consignors about Bryan’s services, auction processes, and available consignment options
- Nurture inside leads through the sales cycle and secure consignments into auction each month through timely follow-up and consistent communication
- Work continuously with existing consignors to identify opportunities for further growth and development
- Work with Senior Leadership to negotiate packages and consignor commissions within Company guidelines
- Manage accounts before and after auction, working with your manager to resolve issues and maintain a positive consignor experience
- Collaborate with the Administrative and Site Leadership teams to ensure that delivery of consignor items to site is scheduled and ownerships, keys, manuals, SDS sheets, and other vital paperwork or information is communicated and delivered.
- Maintain accurate and detailed consignor, lead, opportunity, and activity information HubSpot
- Track sales activities and participate in sales meetings to report on expected auction items, client satisfaction, pipeline activity, and other relevant metrics
- Participate in sales meetings and internal training activities
- Attend trade shows, industry association events, and other networking opportunities
- Collaborate with Operations, Inventory, Administration, Marketing, Business Development, and Senior Leadership to ensure consignments and customer commitments are successfully executed
- Continually expanding upon your product knowledge and monitoring changes to industry trends or and best practices
- Working according to the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and Bryan’s health and safety policies and procedures.
- Completing other duties as assigned.

Your education and career path are likely to have culminated in:
- A degree or diploma in Sales, Business, Communications, or a similar field is preferred.
- 3+ years inside sales and/or revenue generation experience in the auction, liquidation, construction, agriculture, or heavy equipment industries.
- Proven ability to prospect and move qualified opportunities through the sales cycle – proposing, presenting, and discussing solutions with decision-makers.
- A high level of comfort working with CRM and data mining.
- A solid track record of achieving assigned quotas and closing deals.
- Robust problem solving and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail.

The Interviewing Process
Candidates can expect that the interviewing process will generally include:
- A remote screening call with the Human Resources Manager.
- An interview with the Director of Marketing and Business Development and the Human Resources Manager. This may be done virtually or in-person.
We understand that candidates who are currently employed will have to provide a notice period and respect the need for this vital transition.
While we are looking to fill this role as soon as possible, we will establish a mutually agreed upon start date.
The Compensation Package
You will be rewarded for a job well done with a:
- Base salary of $50-60,000 plus bonus that accurately reflects what you bring to the role
