Under the direction of the Unit Manager, or designate, and according to regional and unit specific policies and directives, the Registered Nurse as a professional, bears the primary responsibility and accountability to assess needs, plan for, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients in the Critical Care Unit. This is a front line nursing position on a busy combined ICU/CCU. The position is physically demanding including bending, kneeling, crouching, overhead lifting and mobilizing bariatric patients. Shift work is required.DescriptionAs a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while ensuring their safety and well‑being. You will utilize nursing processes, through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making, and will teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. You will play a leadership role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance. You will provide safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values.Provisional Permit holders will be paid $40.76 to $55.79 per hour.
