You will work as part of the Product Growth engineering team to:Develop the Tailscale product, contributing to client code and backend servicesTake ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from writing code to product ideation and strategic decision-makingWork closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to shape featuresCreate and measure experiments to understand customer engagement and find growth patternsBring impact to our growth metrics through both light weight experimentation as well as larger product initiativesWork closely with data to ensure the right metrics and visibility are available for experimentsWork closely with all of EPD to be an advocate for product lead growth best practicesBecause we’re an early-stage and fully remote company, we’re looking for a motivated individual who can help move the product forward. The abilities to think on your feet, collaborate with highly technical teams, and be comfortable working asynchronously are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesCross-functional teamwork: Collaborate with designers, PMs, and other engineersProduct ideation: Contribute creative ideas for product featuresCode reviews: Conduct and participate in the code review processContinuous improvement: Enhance product quality and maintainabilityProduct strategy: Influence roadmap with technical and growth insightsPrototyping: Create technical prototypes for potential featuresUse feedback:
