Assembly TechnicianSonic Incytes is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our growing team. The Assembly Technician will assemble and test components of the Velacur® device in compliance with our quality and regulatory standards. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to quality.This role reports to the Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain and is an in‑person position in Vancouver, BC.ResponsibilitiesAssembly:Build product as scheduled in accordance with Manufacturing Orders received following approved work instructions, SOPs, and specifications. Ensure all production and quality targets are met. Communicate part shortages to inventory manager.Testing and Inspection:Perform electrical and mechanical testing on assembled devices to verify functionality and safety, conducting inspections at various stages to ensure all components meet specifications.Receive and Inspect Materials:Inspect raw materials from suppliers for QMS compliance, document and report any quality issues, coordinating with quality control and procurement as needed.Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve assembly issues to uphold product quality, perform repair, inspection, reassembly, replacement, and adjustment of the device as required.Returns and Inspections:Receive and inspect parts and products returned from customers, document issues and coordinate with QC and service teams.Documentation and Compliance:Maintain accurate records of assembly and test results in alignment with regulatory standards (FDA, ISO 13485) and the internal QMS.Process Improvement:Work with QC and engineering teams to continuously enhance assembly techniques and processes.Inventory Counts:Assist inventory manager in quarterly and yearly inventory counts.Safety and Organization:Adhere to all safety protocols, keep benches, parts storage,



tools and supplies clean and organized.Training:Assist with training new and current team members on assembly procedures.Additional Tasks:Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation:Technical diploma or certification in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.Experience:2–5 years of experience in electronics or electro‑mechanical device assembly.Technical Skills:Skilled in hand and electronic tools, proficiency in soldering and analog/digital testing; knowledge of electro‑mechanical assembly processes and troubleshooting techniques; able to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.Quality and Compliance:Familiarity with quality control standards in regulated environments such as ISO 9001 or ISO 13485; previous experience in quality‑controlled settings preferred.Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication, collaborative and clear in conveying information.Adaptability:Capable of working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.Self‑Motivation and Problem‑Solving:Proactive, self‑starting attitude with strong problem‑solving skills, able to work with minimal supervision.Computer Skills:Proficient in MS Office suite for daily documentation and communication.Personal Attributes:Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a team‑oriented mindset.CompensationCompetitive Salary:$50,000–$55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.Comprehensive Health Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance starting from day one.Paid Vacation:2 weeks of paid vacation annually.Employee Stock‑Option Plan:Participation in our rewarding employee stock‑option award plan.We are proud to be an equal prospect employer, committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace for all.
