In this role, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams—including Engineering, Product, and DevOps—to ensure high‑quality delivery across modern web, API, and enterprise applications.Office Location:TorontoEmployment Type:PermanentWork Arrangement:Hybrid (2 days in office)Position Responsibilities:Lead QA strategy, planning, and execution across multiple projects and teamsDesign, develop, and scale robust automation frameworks for UI, API, and end‑to‑end testingProvide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvementCollaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps to ensure testability and quality throughout the SDLCDrive end‑to‑end automation, including building frameworks from scratch where requiredIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releasesOversee test planning, test case design, execution, and defect managementEnsure comprehensive coverage across functional, regression, integration (SIT), and UAT testingWork closely with release management and deployment teams to support smooth product releasesEstablish QA standards, documentation, test architecture,



and governance practicesAnalyze quality metrics and provide insights to stakeholders for continuous improvementAct as a key escalation point for quality risks, defects, and production issuesRequirements Required Qualifications:10+ years of software testing experience within Agile development teams7+ years of strong hands‑on test automation experienceProven experience leading QA teams or acting in a Lead/Architect capacityExpertise in automation tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, REST Assured, Postman, or similarDemonstrated experience building automation frameworks from scratchHands‑on experience withBDD/TDD frameworks(Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright, Webdriver.Io, TestNG, etc.)Solid experience withCI/CD pipelines(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing types (UI, API, Functional, Regression, SIT, UAT)Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, etc.)Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience withSAP web testingExposure to performance testing and security testing practicesExperience in Agile Release Train environments (Secure) or large‑scale delivery programsSalary Range:$95,000 to $100,000 CAD/yearInfoya is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
