Overview7-Eleven Distribution Canada Corp. is looking for a dependable, hard-working Class 1 Delivery Truck Driver to join our Calgary, AB team.This Driver will be dedicated to all local pickup's, trailer staging, yard moves, and dock activity at customer sites and in our yard.ResponsibilitiesOperate company-owned trucks to move freight locally.Load and unload products safely and efficiently, heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is part of the job.Keep accurate delivery records and handle any issues or discrepancies that come up.Communicate clearly with customers and the team about schedules, delays, and delivery info.Follow all road safety rules, company protocols, and regulatory guidelines (including HOS and Dangerous Goods requirements when needed).Keep your truck clean and in good shape, you take pride in your ride.Moving equipment within our facility yard.QualificationsValid Class 1 license with a clean driver’s abstractAt minimum 2 years of recent experience operating heavy trucks (Required)Strong understanding of safety, HOS, and freight handlingAbility to work independently, solve problems on the fly, and get the job doneFamiliarity with the territory of Calgary routes is a bonusComfortable using a logbook (Electronic)Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the dayReliable, punctual, and committed to doing solid work every shiftMust have a smartphone with a data plan (cell allowance provided)Must pass a criminal record check and road testWe ProvideA commitment to your success,
