Duties
- Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues using mechanical knowledge and schematics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance tasks.
- Support the assembly and disassembly of vehicle components following safety protocols and technical specifications.
- Participate in heavy lifting tasks required for parts replacement or vehicle servicing.
- Follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines to ensure quality workmanship during all repair activities.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and properly store tools and equipment after use.
- Learn to interpret schematics and technical manuals to improve troubleshooting skills.
Skills
- Level 2 or 3 Apprentice mechanical knowledge with a strong interest in automotive repair.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Good customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients when needed.
- Understanding of schematics, assembly procedures, and maintenance practices.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards.
