Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Asphalt Roller Operator to join our construction team. This role involves operating heavy-duty asphalt rollers to ensure the proper compaction of asphalt surfaces, contributing to the durability and quality of paving projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and precision in office.

Responsibilities

- Operate asphalt roller machines to achieve optimal compaction of paved surfaces in accordance with project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate paving activities and meet project deadlines.
- Assist with other related tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and supporting equipment operation as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members.

Qualifications





- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment, particularly asphalt rollers.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Background in construction, paving, or concrete work is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate related equipment such as loaders, excavators, and concrete finishing tools is a plus.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures in construction environments.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
