The role involves identifying priority learning needs, developing and implementing learning modules, and collaborating with regional teams to enhance clinical practice and system efficiency. The incumbent works under the general supervision of the identified Director/Designate and in collaboration with site and regional teams.ResponsibilitiesIdentify priority learning needs for all clinical staff in an assigned area and implement strategies to address them.Model excellence in clinical practice and provide clinical knowledge in collaboration with identified experts to improve patient care.Develop and/or implement learning modules to support the strategic vision of the designated clinical program.Engage in collaborative activities (e.G., regional working groups, communities of practice) to promote evidence-informed practice and improve efficiency and system performance.Participate in central Orientation and site-driven educational roll-outs as required.ExperienceMinimum of four years of recent related nursing experience with demonstrated clinical practice competency relevant to the assigned area.Previous experience in clinical education is essential, including experience as a preceptor to students and/or orienting new staff.Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required.Master's degree in Nursing preferred (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).Course work/certification in adult education is an asset.Note: In certain circumstances,



certification as an instructor in a specialty training course (e.G., CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP) may be stated as a requirement.Certification/Licensure/RegistrationCanada Nurses Association (CNA) certification in a related clinical area preferred.Must be registered or eligible for registration with the applicable professional college (e.G., College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba).Active participation in professional associations (e.G., ARNM) preferred.CPR training requirements will be in accordance with the Employer policy.Qualifications and SkillsScope of practice as documented in the RHPA.Competency in Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint) and/or other presentation software; familiarity with onlinelearning modalities.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Preference for applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions, and values.Problem-solving skills in complex situations; ability to work creatively and independently.Commitment to continued professional development and to initiating and supporting change.Demonstrated leadership competencies.Physical RequirementsHours of work are versatile and may include evening, night or weekend shifts as required and/or directed.Exceptions to qualifications may be considered if no applicants meet the posted requirements.
